The Law Office of Joan L. Collier is 100% devoted to family law and the issues related to divorce, property division, alimony, child support and child custody/visitation. Being a sole practitioner allows me to efficiently and personally handle cases - you will not be passed off to a paralegal. By limiting the types of cases I take, I can effectively help my clients in the best way possible.
My interest in family law developed during my law school internship with the Ventura Family Law courts under Judge White, who was elected Presiding Judge of the Ventura County Superior Court in 2007. During my internship, I was exposed to a variety of family law situations and I continue to use that experience in my practice today.
